Reflections & Gratitude

December 31st, 2009 Leave a comment Go to comments

It’s that time of year again, when thoughts turn to the new year. Before considering 2010, however, it makes sense to take a quick look back at 2009.

Some questions to drive your thoughts:

  • What important lesson did you learn in 2009?
  • How did this lesson change you?
  • Who was important to you in the past year?
  • Could you name a personal “Person of the Year” for 2009?
  • What would happen if you told this person about your choice?
  • How might this change your relationship?

Despite all the trials and tribulations of 2009, most of us have many, many things to be thankful for. Take a minute (60 full seconds) to think about all the good things there are in your life.

We’ll wait…

If you enjoyed that, why not make an actual list of all the things you have to be thankful for. Stick it in your wallet or purse, and every time you come across it in the coming year, you’ll be rewarded with that warm feeling of gratitude. Can’t get enough of that!
